Men's and Women's Ministries

Men’s Breakfast
The Men’s group will be holding their monthly breakfast on Saturday Feb. 14 in the Social Hall. Coffee is prepared for 7:30 am and breakfast will begin at 8:00.

The men would like to invite all ladies and friends to the breakfast to help celebrate the holiday. Our guest speaker will be Melanie Walborn who will talk to us about her Music Therapy practice and the benefits it provides for her patients and clients.

It is requested that anyone who wishes to attend that is not a regular at these events please RSVP to Ron Louder so that enough food can be prepared for the event by our excellent chefs.

Super Bowl Soup Collection

The Men's Group is sponsoring a soup drive to benefit the Midwest Food Bank of PA in Middletown. The collection runs from January 18 to February 8. A table display is set up in the Narthex to receive your donations of cans of soup. Even if your favorite PA or MD team isn't playing this year, let's make this a day of celebration. "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you?' ... The king will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'" (Matt 25)

Crafters Gathering – Help Needed
The church is getting low on prayer shawls and we need your help! If you are interested in learning how to crochet or knit prayer shawls, please join us on Sunday afternoons from 3:30-5:00 pm in room 204 beginning February 15th. All materials will be provided, and experienced knitters and crocheters will be on hand to teach and answer questions. All you will need are your hands and the desire to learn something new.

Circle of Hope
The Circle of Hope meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 10:00 am in the Social Hall. All women of the church are invited to attend for a time of fellowship and working on service projects such as making soup for the homebound, putting together holiday gift bags for the Congregational Care team, and more.
