Youth and Young Adult Ministry
Helping our teenagers and young adults grow in their relationship with God.
Youth Group is a place for teenagers to meet and discuss the word of God as they grow in their faith and community. We meet every Sunday afternoon from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.
Youth from First UMC attend events and retreats throughout the year such as Impact, Battleball and Zeteo, where they get the chance to engage with teens and adults from diverse communities in Pennsylvania and beyond.
The Youth Group enjoyed this year's trip to Zeteo! The weekend of worship, drama, speakers and prayer was alive with God-filled times of renewal. It took place at the WJTL junction center that hosted Salt n Light ministries. Take a listen to some of the events.

Youth gleaning at Strites Orchard on Sunday, October 26, 2025. They took eggplants and peppers to Bethesda Mission, Ronald McDonald House, Cocoa Packs, and the Hershey Food Bank.
